Today was an incredible day. We attended church this morning hearing about the Wisdom of Seniors. It struck me that as we start to move into fall the days start to get shorter and our beautiful weather can be unpredictable. For seniors this can present a challenge. As real estate brokers and as individuals we all have seniors in our lives, either as family members, friends, customers, a neighbor or just an acquaintance.
What inspired me about this is the mission statement of Ms. Senior Colorado. It states:
"The mission statement of Ms Senior Colorado pageant
is to find the gracious lady who best exemplifies
the dignity, maturity, and inner beauty of all Senior Americans".
Ms. Senior Colorado for 2013, Ms. Gail Hamilton, performed for us this morning and she happens to be a blind opera singer. Imagine her confidently walking up on stage with her dog. What a voice and maybe even more importantly what a message. She was inspirational with her voice and her message. For anyone who feels that they cannot live their dream she will take all the excuses away.

The cabaret also performed. They are a group of former Ms. Senior Colorado winners who perform a cabaret together. What an incredible morning and the honoring of seniors in so many ways.
Congratulations to the newest Ms. Senior USA who is from Tennessee an a former member of the Charlie Daniels Band.
