Gimme That Hat...No Not THAT One, The OTHER One!
Today is one of those days, the role is changing so fast that it's hard to keep track! The day starts off as most, pull the starter cord and get the engine running, and today my brain decides 20 minutes before that 5:50 a.m. alarm clock is time to wake up and get at it! Liz is out of town visiting her family, so feed the kitties and Tido the Chihuahua and get him outside for some "exercise"! Okay, take the pet provider hat off!
Clear some email, read some blogs, catch up with my Facebook friends and on to the next thing! Okay, that was mostly the "just having fun" hat!
A little later get a text from a buyer that we got an accepted contract for last night , did you get that email? Uh, no. Crud. That means our Liz@LizSpear.com email is kaput again. iHouse must be having issues AGAIN. Troubleshoot over the phone with them, hope they figure it out (maybe they did, but still a bit funky on delivery time). Okay, enough of IT Troubleshooter hat, on to something new!
Get a contact from a Rain friend and call him, and we help each other with a couple of things and now I have MORE to do since he shared a couple of great tips! :)
Still no counter offer from sellers for another set of my buyers (from Pinterest and blogging by the way!!), so reach out to listing agent and she didn't get our emails from yesterday (unrelated to our Liz@Lizspear.com issue since sent using a different account), so relay the counter from yesterday. Get her response back later, and NO, that's not going to work. Put on engineer's hat and build the case for why my buyers' offer is statistically sound (we found out the sellers are BOTH engineers....are you scared yet??). The offer and supporting numbers are there, so we're buying a house or moving on to the next one. Hmm, is the engineer's hat done for the day? Probably NOT!
And before the day is done, there's website admin (kill the spam and block the spammers....or was that kill the spammers and block the spam??), appointment coordinator (listing final walkthrough tomorrow so heads up to our sellers and confirm Wednesday's closing with them), marketing answer desk (yes, our listing is priced at $xxx,xxx and includes the following features...silence....guess they're NOT interested!), and you know, I suspect I may have another hat or two to wear before the day is over!
Oh, yeah, blogger hat....CHECK!
Yep, pretty much just another average day in real estate!
