Thanks for all your comments about the yurt. Actually it's not for sale, but I took the picture from the neighbor's property which is for sale. Yurts are not uncommon here in Haiku as it's a quick and easy shelter to put up. Is it legal? Who knows? Is it fun? Yes, until a long stretch of windy rainy weather makes it not so attractive.

Georgina, every now and then, I'll get people who want to be off the grid and ask if they can build a yurt at Fishhawk Lake. I have to squelch that thought, as it has to have a foundation and be stick-built. But, regardless, it's still fun to enjoy!
