Phoenix Real Estate - It's time to buy & sell again!Phoenix Real Estate

Thinking about buying or selling your home?  You’re not alone.  Real Estate is back, and it’s time to buy and sell again.  It’s been nearly 5 years since the Phoenix housing crash.  Phoenix-area Real Estate is once again on fire.  Fewer available new builds, rebounding home values and a massive reduction in foreclosures and short sales is creating a seller’s market.  However, you still need to choose wisely when hiring a Realtor® because as the word gets out there are many more listings available and more listings equals more competition.  Your Realtors marketing budget & plan will make all the difference.

For example, the Angie Johnson Real Estate Team services the entire Phoenix metropolitan area including: Scottsdale, Chandler, Sun City West, Gilbert, Mesa and so on.  Listing your home with the Angie Johnson Real Estate Team allows you to benefit from a six-figure marketing budget.  This premium marketing exposure includes Television, ABC15.com, The Real Estate Book, Homes & Land, Premium  Listings on real estate websites and access to investors looking to purchase Phoenix area real estate.

According to the Center for Real Estate Theory and Practice at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, median home prices for Maricopa and Pinal counties hit $175,000 this spring, up from $134,000 one year ago.  That’s great news for homeowners, as well as prospective buyers eager to jump into the market before prices rise further.

Foreclosures in Maricopa County have taken a major nose dive which is fantastic for all of us homeowners.  In March of 2009 there were 10,099 compared to March of 2013 at only 1,689.  If you’d like to invest in Phoenix area short sales and foreclosures you need to act quickly.

My two featured communities for this week are “Power Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona” and “homes for sale in Desert Ridge”.  Did you know Power Ranch is one of the earliest master plans developed in our state?  Located near Power and Germann Rd, Power Ranch offers dozens of individual neighborhoods surrounded by mature trees, family-friendly playgrounds, ramadas, sport courts and barbeque grills.  The starting home price at Power Ranch is $135,000 while the average home size is 2,300 square feet.  To learn more, email us here or call us at (480) 570-5500.

Desert Ridge communities include Fireside at Desert Ridge, Aviano at Desert Ridge, and many other Desert Ridge developments that begin at 101 & Tatum going north to Pinnacle Peak Road.  Desert Ridge is a master-planned community in North Phoenix that was established in 1991.  Already in place, in addition to several residential neighborhoods with nearly 4,000 homes, are Mayo Clinic Phoenix campus that includes Mayo Clinic Hospital and the Mayo Clinic Specialty Building; Desert Ridge Marketplace, a 1,200,000-square-foot retail, dining and entertainment center; and JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, which includes Wildfire Golf Club with 36 holes of championship golf, a day spa, 252 time-share units, and a 950-room hotel – the largest in Arizona.

“Desert Ridge Real Estate” and Desert Ridge Homes for Sale are located in zip code “85050”.  To learn more, email us here or call us at (480) 570-5500.
