Thinking of Buying a Condo in State College?

Have you ever thought of buying a condo in State College, PA?  There are a lot of different choices when it comes to State College condos.  We have listings anywhere from $100,000 in the Amitie development all the way up to $500,000 in some of the higher end areas.  There are also some new condos being built in downtown State College in the Fraser Centre which, when completed, will probably top out over $1,000,000.  You cna choose to be in the downtown area and live in the Towers or the Fraser Centre.  You could also choose the Summit and have amazing views of Mount Nittany and yet still noly be 10 minutes from downtown State College. 

Even most of our townhome communities in State College are actually condo communities.  These units run anywhere from $130,000 in some of the more student centric areas to $350,000+ to be on the Centre Hills Golf Course.  Even a new unit could be had for the mid -$200's around town in some really nice areas.State College Condo

Condo fees are usually pretty low and run from $150 per month up to almost $400 per month dpeending on what they cover.  Most associations will cover exterior maintenance and insurance, lawn care and snow removal, and common area maintenance at a minimum.  Additional services for a higher fee usually include water and sewer, trash pickup, cable television, and some even have a clubhouse.

Whether you're looking for a place to retire, a place for Penn State Football weekends, or just a crash pad for your college kids, it's probably available in State College for a reasonable price.  You can view all the State College Condo listings online at our website.

Keep in mind if you're buying a condo to rent, make sure that your chosen real estate agent is well versed in State College student rental language as well.

Marc, A fellow agent friend of mine went this summer to State College to find housing for her graduate student son. They ended up buying a loft condo. It was more affordable than renting.
