O.K....So last week I had my 5th of 7 chemo infusions (except for the side effects of the infusions...read: poisons...I’m feeling great)...This week I celebrated my 70th birthday with a BACKACHE...
I guess I was trying to prove that 70 is a mere number, so I planted a new fig tree which my daughter Emily had won in a recent raffle...
Planting was a breeze...digging a suitable hole was another story...
Between shovels, hoes, and (very heavy) pry bars...Well...you guessed it...there went the back...
Actually the hole was easy to dig...once we removed the six or seven huge rocks ‘living’ there...there was hardly any soil left to remove...
Have you ever noticed how rocks seem to ‘grow’...at least they do in our neck of the woods...
So for all of you out there with ACHIN’ BACKS...my sympathy goes out to you...especially those ‘over’ 70...!!!
