The Heritage Square Alpine Slide in Golden is located in the Family Entertainment Village, in the foothills just 15 minutes West of Denver. The Alpine Slide in Golden is located at 18301 W. Colfax Ave. Heritage Square is a family-oriented attraction. Aside from the Alpine Slide, Heritage Square has knick-knack shops, yummy foods and snacks and a few other small rides.
The Heritage Square Alpine Slide in Golden is the best Alpine Slide in Colorado and has been a tradition 
for over 30 years now! When you visit Heritage Square and ride the Alpine Slide in Golden, you will take the scenic chair lift up to the top of the mountain and ride a sled down one of the two ½ mile tracks down.
When you ride the Heritage Square Alpine Slide in Golden, you are completely in control of your ride experience- you get to choose your speed! The two Alpine Slide tracks are different speeds as well, so while you will be able to control the speed with the sled lever, you can also choose the “fast track” or the “slower track”.
The price of riding the Alpine Slide in Heritage Square is extremely reasonable. Children ages 7 and over for a single ride is $8, 3 rides is $23 and 5 rides is $38. For children under 6, the price is $5 and they must ride with a paying adult who is 18 years old or older. Heritage Square Alpine Slide in Golden also offers a group rate where tickets for a single ride become $7. Groups are asked to make arrangements 24 hours in advance in order to receive the group rate.
Heritage Square’s Fall hours are Wednesday through Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm and the Alpine Slide is open Weekends from 11:00am-5:00pm. It is important to keep in mind that the Heritage Square Alpine Slide operating hours are always weather permitting.
