However, getting those first few deals done is the hardest thing about real estate investing for most people. And the reason for that is that in your mind (and very possibly in reality too) the risks outweigh your risk tolerance - plain and simple.
So, what we need to do is first take steps to reduce the risks and then boost your risk tolerance until it surpasses the remaining risks. Factors that influence your risk tolerance include:
- theoretical education
- practical education / experience
- confidence
- skills
- upbringing
- personality
- psychological make-up
- mood
- financial situation
Now, the catch 22 that we've mentioned before is that the biggest factor preventing you from getting these training deals done is, ironically, the practical experience itself. So we need an alternate plan to get you to that point.
