Gene Simmons and wife Shannon Tweed renewed their wedding vows at an over the top ceremony at the Haiku Mill location this month.  The luxury wedding event was designed by Japanese wedding planner Yoshi Nojiri.  It's all to be part of a film called "The Ultimate Wedding Planner" being produced by Sea Star Films.  The location gets high marks from Conde Nast Traveler and it's a very popular site for romantic Maui weddings.

I just don't see how people who live there can afford such high priced homes. I am thinking most of the buyers are wealty people from HI and elsewhere. What say you?

Hi Laura and Sussie Yes our prices are high compared to a lot of markets and buyers get sticker shock at times. Many buyers are from other states and other countries. Many cash buyers. Once you get on the Monopoly board you just keep trading up and then it becomes relative. But it's worth it! Aloha

Hawaii is awesome. The views, the weather, the peace and the tranquility is certainly worth the money. 4 Not Quite Finished sounds like a little piece of heaven.
