Can a blog platform discriminate against seniors?

Some of us in the senior category are having a more difficult time when we write ActiveRain blogs or comments. The reason is that the default font size is too small for our old eyes. Thankfully, in blogs, the font size can be changed but that is not the case with comments.

Maybe these decisions are made by young staff members that have excellent vision. Personally, I have trouble with the default font size.  I am happy to see the return of the spell check feature in blog comments. This will help us avoid errors.

Am I the only ActiveRain member that has this problem?

Endre: I am certainly glad that posting photographs in blogs has become easier.

Changing from drafts to current blogs is still more difficult than in the past.

Roy, Perhaps, the will get around to one day to addressing the font size in the comment box. I know whenever I wanted to have larger fonts for comments, I would go into Scribe Fire Addon for FireFox, and copy and paste. Now, I know that.

This is just an example that I did tonight for your post.

Roy, fonts are a part of blogging I always struggle with because I never know what is big or small enough. I put it somewhere in the middle, where it looks good to me and hope everyone can read it. The comments do lean toward the smaller size, hopefully, it's an upgrade coming in the future.
