I spent some time yesterday showing several houses in an "up and coming" area of Charlotte. The houses are in the Lela Court neighborhood, which is in an area better known to locals as Wesley Heights. The subdivision is located only 2 miles from Charlotte's center city and for the size of house, upgrades, and location, these houses are very affordable. There are currently several in the community that are for sale ranging from the high $200's to the mid $300's. The houses offer 3-4 bedrooms, open floorplans, detached or attached garages, hardwood floors, granite countertops, crown molding, stainless steel appliances, updated 42 inch maple cabinets, private patios....the list goes on. They really are a great value!
Walking through the Lela Court neighborhood you will notice that each house is very unique. The style of the houses are considered bungalows but you almost feel like you are walking through Charleston, SC by their exterior features.
For someone looking in this price range and working in the city, this is definitely a subdivision worth exploring.
