What is the fastest way to get rid of Senators and Congressman?

Mary, if we as Realtors conducted business like this, we would be out of business in a heart beat. 

I make it a rule that if the incumbent has been in office for 2 terms that I always vote against them.  Unfortunately most people just keep re-electing the same old faces year after year.  "The problem is with the other members of Congress. My guy is great." Keep re-electing them over and over.  Look at people like John McCain, John Boehner, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi - these wretched horrible people think they own their Congressional seat after decades in office.

The fastest way to get rid of the dead weight is to put someone up for election who attracts more votes.

Our next lesson might be a complete collapse. I really think we are far closer than people think. The idiots that get everything given to them believe the money will never end. Eventually that money runs out or the producers move away.

Almost all "replacemant candidates" turn out to be no better, and often worse than who they replaced.

May I recommend you take the econ course I suggested yesterday in my post.  It has nothing to do with God punishing us for the shut down, but you ought to take it anyway.  Everyone should.  Actually I am serious in that.

Actually, God protecting our country and bringing it forth for its obedience is throughout the Founding Fathers' documents.  Are we always punished for disobedience?  No.  Are we always promised deliverance when we obey righteous principles?  Yes.  Do we get those blessings when we want?  No.

There are many, many more.  Consider the quotes and the opposite.  We are a nation founded on Christian principles and doctrines.  Of course there are those who want to dispute it, but Washington wanted the phrase "so help me God," in the oath of the presidency.  Those who dispute are unfamiliar with Masonric rites and phrases...  Being punished for disobedience is another principle therewith.

But you already knew all this Karl.

You do know that the White House, Capitol Building and Washington Monument (sites picked by George Washington! and L'Enfant - both masons) are in spots and on altitudes to mimic the constellation Virgo.  The locations and altitudes of those locations represent the shape and distances of the most prominent stars in that constellation.  But do you know why?

Consider your interesting question in #8 before answering!  What she was saying has nothing to do with the shut down.  You may have read that, but she did not say that.

   The question of how to get rid of Senators et al was demonstrated in 1776 and again in 1861.   It worked the first time; it failed the second.  Today nobody has the courage.

Jay, your comment about an educated electorate cannot be refuted as stated.  However, the dream of an educated electorate, for practicality and feasibility, can be stored along with "Everyone in the world should live together in peace and harmony."  Certainly both are true, but they will never happen.  We can't even get all or most people who drive educated to the point where slower drivers keep left.  For every one you educate, ten more are born stupid.  As for a free economics course, I love just about anything that's free, but you have to agree that most economists are wrong more often than most meteorologists.

Mary Thomas,  it is good to read that others realize that God will bring us to our knees here on earth. Some will not figure that out until it is too late.
