Update Regarding Government Shut Down

In light of the recent Government shut down, my Lending partners have been working with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA to determine the appropriate actions to ensure continued loan production and normal business operations.
 
The information gathered thus far indicates home loans will continue to be processed. The anticipated effects to each loan type are as follows:
 
• Conventional: Business as usual
 
• FHA: HUD will likely continue insuring loans, HUD insurance processing may be delayed.
 
• VA: Business as usual
 
So, as of now it looks like home buying and selling will not be negatively affected by this partial shut down of some government activity.
 
I will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you posted.
