Beautiful Arizona -- My Home
Arizona has experienced extraordinary growth in the last several decades and yet in many ways, it has retained its charm and rugged beauty.
This is due to the fact that only 15% of Arizona is privately owned. The remaining 85% is made up of public forests and parks, Native American reservations, and land that is still included in the state trust. Thus, future generations will continue to marvel at our many natural wonders, such as the Grand Canyon and Sonoran Desert.
Beautiful Arizona
Arizona is more geographically diverse than most people realize. If you were blind-folded and dropped into Northern Arizona, you might guess that you were in Colorado. Twenty-seven percent of Arizona is forest land and includes Douglas fir and spruce trees, along with the largest stand of Ponderosa pine trees in the world. Mountain ranges in the northern portion of our state receive significant snowfall and are home to ski resorts.
The diverse climate creates a unique advantage for Arizona residents. During the summer, when it is hot in Central and Southern Arizona, you are just a short car ride away from much cooler temperatures. During the winter months, you can ski in Northern Arizona in the morning and then return to the Phoenix metro area in the afternoon for some golfing or swimming.
Combine Arizona's natural beauty with the big city ammenities found in metro Phoenix and Tucson. Arizona is now the 15th most populated state in the U.S. -- with more than 4 million residents in metro Phoenix and more than 1 million citizens in the Tucson area. We are blessed with some wonderful universities, as well as, a number of cultural and recreational attractions.
I have had the opportunity to travel extensively. I love to visit places far and wide -- but I'm always happy to return to Arizona and can't picture living anywhere else.
If you are considering or planning a relocation to greater metro Phoenix, please contact me and I will be happy to provide you with additional information. I can also arrange for community tours throughout Maricopa and Pinal counties.
I hope to welcome you to Arizona soon!
