The Kancamagus Scenic Highway is 35 miles of federal forest with no gas stations, power lines or any residential structures of any-kind for the entire trip. There are a variety of places to pull over and enjoy the spectacular views. There are also a number of hiking trails, ranger stations and rest stops that were placed at beautiful vistas. So whether you are a true outdoors-men or just want to roll down the window and take in the sights this is a great New England Drive. "Watch out for the Moose...Fox, Bear and other wild creatures along the way".

the views really speak for themselves.

The ski slopes on Loon mountain are pretty colorful...before going to all white.

The Lincolnwoods Ranger station and cable bridge span the Pemigewasset River, and access wonderful trails for walking or cross-country skiing in the winter months.

this Heart shape tree gets me to pull over every time I pass it by...stunning vistas.

Another rest stop along the way...clearly marked pull over points will not disappoint travelers.

There are three "huts" along the way at paved and sheltered look out points...they chose this spots for the excellent views. Don't pass them by if you are looking for a photo op.

Kancamagus Pass is 2855 feet above sea level and one of the highest points you can travel by car throughout the entire year in the Northeast.

All these shots were taken with in 10 miles of my office and all are in the town of Lincoln New Hampshire. If you are looking for some wonderful views or looking to purchase real estate in the White Mountains of New Hampshire...you have come to the right place. Give me a call if you have questions about properties or the best viewing spots in the area.

The White Mountains...I LOVE IT HERE !!

All we get in our area is fire season. While the Pacific Ocean is beautiful, we definitely do not have fall colors.

Awesome colors.  We had planned on a trip out east, maybe to your location, but, family matters have cancelled our plans.

Some really beautiful pictures Steve.  I could stop and look at it all day.  We have some nice colors here as well although our slopes were covered in about 5 inches of the white stuff this morning.

these shots are from a pretty good elevation...the Lakes region and lower part of the state aren't at peak yet...but the White Mountains are right on the colors.
