One of my absolute favorite websites when it comes to saving money is The Dollar Stretcher. You will find financial information on taxes, growing herbs for tea, budgeting, retirement, living a frugal lifestyle and yes, lots of information about Real Estate and of course many other related topics.
I was browsing their website earlier today and noted an article that really caught my attention. The Article is titled 6 Hazards Home Insurance Doesn't Cover. While this can sound like ALL BAD NEWS, it isn't. In fact, as you read the article, you will discover some of the items your Insurance probably doesn't cover can be added as an endorsement to your policy for a few dollars a year. Better to know now than not knowing when disaster strikes.

Thanks David, I have never been to the site but am going to head there now.
Don't have time to get over to the website now, but bookmarked your post to come back later, thanks.
I was not aware of the site, thank you for bringing it to our attention. Looking forward to leaning a few things.
David,
I receive the Dollar Stretcher too and I always learn something knew. When it comes to stretching the dollar, we're never to old to learn.
Thanks David!
David,
Yikes I did not know some of those here mold insurance is exhorbiant we do get flood insurance sink holes I did not know that Texas was of the those states and I will go the the stretch the dollar! I love to save money.
David, this is a great post, and so true! With the flooding here in Colorado, their homeowners insurance did not cover this. We don't usually have flooding, so no one usually carries it.
