garden still life

Time to rest after working in the garden and enjoying the sunshine today. With a storm heading up the coast, it was a good time to pick some flowers and the last of the tomatoes before they get blown down. And I finally gave in and switched the thermostat from heat to cool setting (I need my own microclimate inside no matter what it's doing outside!).

I was going to water the plants today and then saw the weather report.  No sense wasting water when mother nature is going to dump on us.  Love the pop of colors from your flowers.

Cindy-it does sound like we are going to get a drenching tomorrow, which was one reason to use the mower to get up a lot of leaves today.

Silvia--Whatever clouds are blowing by your way have a chance of drifting up the coast, but the winds usually calm down as they travel north. Thanks!

Hi Carolyn, I think the only thing I would add to the beautiful still life is a cup of coffee. This looks like a perfect setting to just sit and enjoy with a cup of freshly brewed coffee........................

William--That will have to be your dream. I don't drink coffee! You would have to bring your own.
