From July 1, 2013 - September 30, 2013, there were 93 single family homes sold in Stoughton MA*. The lowest priced home sold for $115,000.00 and the highest priced home sold at $540,000.00. The average sales price for this time period was $316,469.00. 
How did the third quarter of 2013 compare to the third quarter in other years for Stoughton Real Estate?

The Stoughton MA real estate market continues to show improvement and looks strong heading into the fourth quarter. 
What does this mean for buyers?  Prices and sales have remained strong and show a slow but steady increase year over year - indicating a stronger market than we have seen in the past few years.  Many buyers, being priced out of the surrounding towns of Canton and Sharon, are turning to Stoughton as an affordable alternative.  Interest rates, while on the rise, still remain historically low.  With a strong market and low rates, if you are ready to make the move, it is a good time to buy a home.

Hi, Christine -- glad to see things are still on the upswing.  In our market, we are beginning to notice a small build in inventory and days on market and total sales, month-over-month have begun a small decline.  Monitoring this, along with the interest rate market, to see if it develops into something more meaningful.
