New businesses are making their way into The Shops at Highland Village over the coming months and the news is getting locals excited!

Last week, I attended the Highland Village Business Association's Community Coffee event that featured city council members and area commercial developers in an intimate setting at Patrizio's.  The event was open to all residents and local business owners or anyone who just wanted to get an idea of what was going on in Highland Village.

Luke's Locker opening next to Talbot's is receiving cheers from the fitness enthusiasts in Highland Village.  If you have a need for new shoes or gear to help you look good while getting in shape, Luke's Locker is slated to open on October 13th.

A few new restaurants will be making their way to The Shops as well.

Grimaldi's

Grimaldi's is a New York inspired pizzeria that serves coal-brick oven fired pizza and calzones.  The eatery will be by The Children's Place where Brilliant Sky once lived.

Maybe quick and fresh Tex-Mex is more your style.  Chiladas is making its home by Potbelly sandwich shop.

The Highland Village Tavern was slated to be where the old Shoe Pavilion was, across from Blue Goose but financing fell through.  Alberta Development says they are currently courting a similar-type nationally known restaurant bar idea but it's too early to discuss concrete plans.

A new place to get your child's hair cut or have a birthday party is Pigtails and Crewcuts.

This store will be by The Boardroom Salon for Men.

Whole Foods will likely be up and running in a little over a year as construction crews renovate Coldwater Creek and turn it into an upscale market.  Nice additions to the store will be an outdoor patio area to eat and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Keep an eye out for these retailers making their way to our area and enjoy more places visit!
