Over the years, the Coral Reef Yacht club has hosted many great regattas including the 2008 Star Worlds, Bacardi Cup and Bacardi Miami Race Week, Lightning Mid Winters, and the Rolex Miami Olympic Classes Regatta.
Club members have access to a 100-slip marina, a dining room with a magnificent view of Biscayne Bay and marina, and a number of activities. Social activities for both adults and kids include a junior sailing program, kid’s movie night, recreational boating and fishing tournaments.
For almost fifty years, the pristine waters of the Coral Reef Yacht Club continue to attract yachtsmen and their guests with the opportunity to experience not only the thrill of yacht racing but also the laidback activities of fishing, diving, sailing or even cruising.
In 1995, the George Engle estate sold the clubhouse to the club’s earliest Board of Directors and transformed it to a boater’s haven with driveways dotted with royal palm trees and manicured lawns. Aside from marine fun, members of the club get to enjoy world-class facilities with a 6,000 sq. ft. clubhouse that serves as the center of the community.
