The Calvert Marine Museum holds their annual Patuxent River Appreciation Days the weekend before Columbus Day in an effort to raise awareness of the river's impact on the area as well as promote ways everyone in the Solomons area can take advantage of what the river has to offer. This year, Patuxent River Appreciation Days take place October 12th and 13th.
