When we visited Europe 2 years ago, my Mom insisted on the famous "pushing down the tower" picture. She took the pic and said it looked like I was pushing it down....um....really mom? And this was the best one!! Haha, gotta love her!
I guess it wasn't as bad as the one she had my Dad do...
It is the stories behind the pictures that are so special at times. You will remember that experience, with your mom for a really long time. . .It doesn't get any better than that!
I suspect it is why I have always had an interest in photography. I am always trying to freeze special moments in time.
Kerrie, It sounds you had a wonderful memorable time with your parents in Europe and you need to give your mommy some slack.....lol

Universal studios in Orlando has the exact spot marked for everyone to stand on and where the pic needs to be taken from so the pic works. Might want to practice some before attempting this again.
What a blessing that you got to have this trip with your parents! This will be a memory that will be re-told for years...and you have the photos to prove it! I am guessing there will be lots of giggles!
and in your mom's defense...the perspective is different in that little screen on the back of the camera... ;)

Well if you went to push the statue of liberty down, you couldn't since it's closed...
I was just there in May, and one of my favorite pictures was taken down the road of all the people lined up to take these shots!
I think we do a similar picture for every vacation spot we go to :) There is always something worth pushing down or holding up, etc...

You look a lot better than I did! My daughter took me there and made me push it too. I looked ridiculous! But I enjoyed the trip! Isn't Italy the best! I want to go back there ASAP!
I hope you get to travel all around the world or at least to all the places you really want to go with the ones you love. Memories are cherished forever!
