FHA limits and Minimum credit scores Williamson County, Travis County, and Hays county.

1.   FHA has raised their loan limits from $217k to $288,750 in Williamson, Travis and Hays counties.  (see below)  

 

• In the past, FHA Lenders have had no minimum credit score requirement...THAT HAS CHANGED.  Most lenders have gone to a 580 credit score minimum.

• FHA stills allows borrowers to roll up their 3% down and closing cost into the loan for 100% financing!!  (home has to appraise for the higher loan amount)  J
