St Pete Clay Company on 22nd Street South in downtown St Petersburg Florida is holding their Empty Bowls event on November 16 at 6 pm. This is an international grassroots event to fight hunger. Local artists have donated their handcrafted bowls, which will be donated at the event.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Guests will receive a meal of soup and bread for their donation and the bowl can be taken home as a reminder that so many in the world have empty bowls. All cash collected will be donated to the St Vincent de Paul Kitchen in St Petersburg Florida to feed the hungry.
This is indeed a worthwhile event being held at the St Pete Clay Company located at 420 22nd St South in St Petersburg Florida.
