Community on Lake Wallenpaupack. This charming, rustic community boasts 83 properties with 13 lakefront homes. This community has quaint homes & cabins, classic lake cottages and some larger homes. All homes blend in with the natural environment with earthy siding. Lake fronts are level to the lake, have long vista views, and is located close to the largest island on the lake: Epply Island. Non-lake front homes have access to 20+ slips for 2nd & 3rd tier properties (wait list but reasonable cost once you get a slip).

There is also easy access to the lake if your home is not a lakefront. There are community picnic area at the lake, a well maintained boat launch and community boat slips.

Lake Wallenpaupack
PPL built Lake Wallenpaupack in 1926 as a hydroelectric plant. The project took 2,700 people about two years to complete, which included the construction of the dam, power plant, flow line and Tafton Dike. In addition to providing a water source for the generation of clean, renewable electricity, the 5,700-acre lake plays a critical role in regional water management. At 13 miles long and about 60 feet at its maximum depth, the lake also provides year-round recreation opportunities including camping, fishing, boating and water-skiing.
