2nd Quarter Home Sales for the East Bay of RI 2013

2013 2nd Quarter (April-June) Home Sales Barrington, Warren, Bristol & East Providence, RI.

 

2nd quarter home sales for Barrington, Warren, Bristol and East Providence were somewhat of a mixed bag. While Warren and East Providence gained momentum in home sales, Barrington and Bristol loss some of their momentum in home sales. Home prices fluctuated between towns and between this time last year.

Here's how the numbers broke down according to each town.

Barrington- 71 sales this year compared to 78 sales this time last year 2012.

                 2013 median price is $390K versus median price 2012 at $348K.

                 2013 days on market is 91 compared to 118 days in 2012.

                 2013 had 4 distressed properties compared to 10 in 2012.

 

Warren- 27 sales in 2013 compared to 17 sales this time last year 2012.

             2013 median price is $203K versus median price 2012 at $230K.

             2013 days on market is 102 compared to 125 days in 2012.

             2013 had 6 distressed properties and in 2012 there were also 6.

 

Bristol- 37 sales in 2013 compared to 44 sales this time last year 2012.

            2013 median price is $260K versus median price 2012 at $235K.

            2013 days on market is 88 compared to 89 in 2012.

            2013 had 9 distressed properties compared to 10 in 2012.

 

East Providence- 107 sales in 2013 compared to 86 this time last year 2012.

                          2013 median price is $167K versus madian price 2012                                       at $174K.

 

                          2013 days on market is 87 compared to 101 in 2012.

                          2013 had 22 distressed properties compared to 25 in 2012.

Overall, this year has seen a significant increase of home sales and home prices.

Looking forward to the 3rd quarter numbers coming out the end of October, and it should show increases across the board in sales, price and days on market.

These are the 2nd quarter home sales for the East Bay of RI.
