So many Active Rainers still to meet...maybe we should do google hangouts

You know, I'm finding this contest rather challenging...choosing 3 members...or even 9...whichever way you slice it, there are still so many I'd like to meet.  (And, BTW, I think I've already met about 60 in person and probably spoken to another 20-30 on the phone.

 

Karen Fiddler's road trip post got me thinking.  We should probably do some google hangouts together.  I'm not real tech savvy and I forget how to set them up, but they can't be that hard.  I think we can 10 people on there at a time.  So, maybe we should set some of those up.

 

Just a thought.

Debbie, So many rainers to meet/chat with, so little time :)  I've enjoyed my encounters with everyone so far and no reason to expect different with future meetings.

Tom - You just need to have a G+ account.  And, then I think you can set one up and send invites.

Barbara - Yes, I need to learn how. It can't be that hard.

Bliz - Yes, I agree.  This would be a way to meet a whole bunch at once and maybe collaborate on a topic.

Wow Debbie that is awesome. I hope to meet some folks and talk to a bunch. I have to say I have only talked to 5 different people and only met one or two and they are in my town anyway. It shows you what a rookie I still am. A die hard ARer would know many people and I hope to be there some day.

Noah - I'm lucky enough to have attended RainCamp before they disbanded it and I have been to many local meetups.  And, we had a spontaneous MeetUp in the City last summer so got to meet many that way. Over time, you will meet more and more. and, phone works just as well.
