Is It The Best Time To Buy A Home?

Should I wait or Should I buy?  These days, that is the question.

According to C.A.R. (California Association of Realtors) E-Newsline, "C.A.R. Market Matters," it could be the best time to get into purchasing a home since year 2004.  We have been educating buyer clients that there are several indications that it's time have the faith and power to jump over the sideline.  There is definitely a decline in home prices and much affordability.

I have seen my clients miss the chance to buy a great home just because they believed that prices were going to come down and it never did. I tried to help by educating them the power of buying and owning a home.  At the end, they did not buy and were priced out.

Yes, price is coming down, and it is coming down from price which had a remarkable gain. So, did the waiting do any good?  I do wish that the consumers will not miss this opportunity - great price, great interest rates.

John, thank you for the comment.  The buyers need to understand where they are in the market now - then hopefully, they should be able to convince themselves.

The only time you know that the market hit the bottom is when the market starts going up.  It's a matter of finding the right property at the right price for you.  Timing the market is very difficult.
