Huntsville Madison AL MLS Home of the Week
Frequently Asked Questions:
Who chooses the Home of the Week? Most Friday mornings throughout the year, come rain or shine, a different group of Huntsville Area Association of Realtors (HAAR) comes together to take part in a Realtor Caravan. After a brief introduction and explanation of the rules they head out to visit the homes on the Caravan (tour) that day and choose the Home of the Week.
How is the Home of the Week chosen? Each Realtor gives a score after considering price, condition and saleability. Scores are awarded based on each individual home's merit. The houses are not scored against each other since there may be a 1500 sq ft ranch home and a 7,000 sq ft luxury home on the same tour. When all the houses have been viewed and rated, everyone heads back to the office where all the scores are combined to determine a winner.
Why does this matter to Home Sellers? It's an honor to win the Huntsville Madison AL MLS Home of the Week, but even those that don't win gain valuable exposure to Realtors who may have a suitable Buyer client. It's also great to get feedback from Realtors who are very familiar with the market and who might have suggestions to make the home more atractive to home Buyers.
