Your Goals Create A Sense of Purpose in Your Life
“Even if I don’t reach all my goals, I’ve gone higher than
I would have if I hadn’t set any.”
Danielle Fotopoulos, American Soccer Player
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Your Goals create a sense of purpose in your life
Your goals give you a sense of purpose for your life . . . . A target to aim for . . . . and a purpose in your day.
With written goals you set the expectations for your future achievement . . . . And what you want that future to become in advance of taking the actions to achieve your goals.
The size of your goals will determine the size of your target . . . . and how high you will soar.
There will be times even with the best of intentions and hard work you will . . . . miss your target. In almost all circumstances you will achieve far more with written goals then without them.
When you miss a goal keep your head up. Use it as a learning experience . . . . and go after your goals with renewed energy.
You may want to adjust your approach to achieving your goals but . . . . don’t give up . . . . Don’t adjust by lowering your standards or in your efforts.
Set big goals . . . . aim high . . . . and pursue your goals create a sense of purpose in your life and the passion in your heart to achieve them.
