THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME CONTEST

 

Home seems to be the one definitive word that ties us all together.  Most of us who like to sing in the "Rain" do so about Home.  We sell, inspect, insure, finance, stage, decorate and do what ever needs to be done to help realize the dream of home.

These professions we have chosen, they are important.  We help people realize their dreams, we help them find a home they will love.  A place to build their memories.  but what about your dreams.  What about home for you.  Just what does home mean for you? How important is the word home?  Where do you make your home?  What do you love about your home and what do you not love so much? Same holds true for where your home is located.  Do you love it or not so much.

You may live in a castle, a simple cottage, a small apartment, trailer or tent.  It doesn't matter what you call home but it does matter how you feel about it.

If you are ready to click your heels three times and say "There's no place like home" then this is a contest for you. Tell me about your home and how you feel about it. The rules (you knew there would be rules) are:

 

The contest runs from October 1st to the 31st.

The post must be at least 300 words (a bow to the fans of brevity)

A picture of why you love your home, i.e. kitchen, garden, fireplace, huge den, whatever.
