14th Annual Halloween Family Fun Night

The City of Melbourne, FL will host its 14th Halloween Family Fun Night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave., Melbourne. Features include costume contest, carnival styles games, DJ, snacks, storytelling, and more.

Time: 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. Location: Downtown Melbourne The traditional 21st Annual ‘Frightfully Good Time’ Trick or Treat Walk takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Melbourne. Parents can look for shops and businesses with an orange and black ‘Treat Stop” sign in their windows and know that children will be welcomed there. Children's Haunted House

Boo at the Zoo

Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL will host its annual Halloween event for children weekends through Oct. 11-13, Oct. 18-20, Oct. 25-27...

Animals, monsters and ghosts alike are getting ready for Mystical Journeys as Brevard Zoo gears up for Boo at the Zoo. Presented by Bright House Networks, this nine-night event is Oct. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27. Hours on Friday and Saturday area from 5:30 to 9 p.m. with last admission at 8 p.m. Sunday nights the hours are from 5:30 to 8 p.m. with last admission at 7 p.m.

Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of mystical wonderment at Boo at the Zoo! Enjoy a variety of fun activities, including trick or treating in a safe environment at more than 25 treat stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Experience a Mystical Show each evening by Zoola! Entertainment, make crafts and dance at the ball in the Mystical Mansion, ride the Mystical Boo Choo train, explore Professor Wormwood’s Mystical Garden sponsored by Rockledge Gardens, and for those who dare, prepare for a scare on the Mystical Haunted Trail (recommended for persons at least 10 years of age). So many exciting journeys await those who venture into the mystical Land of Boo!


Viera Fall Festival

Come join the community for a weekend of family fun at the Viera, FL Fall Festival & Oktoberfest, October 26th and 27th, 2013.  The event grounds are located at 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Melbourne, across from the Government Center and just east of School Board.Activities include arts & crafts, pumpkin carving, hay rides, German food & beers, German music and a German Hoffbrauhaus Tent.  There's also a children's costume contest for the best-dressed Wizard of Oz characters.
