FHA approved condo complexes in the SLC Avenues

Not having FHA approval can really affect the value of a condo complex. If you are an FHA buyer looking in the Avenues in Salt Lake City, you may have a tough time finding a condo that is eligible for FHA. Unless, of course, you found this article. Finding this list of FHA approved condos in the Avenues in Salt Lake City is like finding a twenty dollar bill in an old pair of jeans that you haven’t worn in two years. It’s your lucky day.

FHA approved condos in the SLC Avenues

Of all the condos in the Avenues area, only a handful of them are eligible for FHA. You may be interested to know that you may have other loan options. If you are using an FHA loan because of the low down payment, you may want to look into a Homepath loan that only requires 3% down and doesn’t have the same restrictions on condos that FHA does. Also, you can get a conventional loan with only 5% down and then you could pick any condo in the SLC Avenues that you want.

If you are definitely going to use FHA, here is the list. Since the list was small, I have also included condos on Capitol Hill that qualify for FHA loans.

Trevi Towers

Panorama Condominiums

Terrace Falls

Northridge Heights Condos

Carlton Towers

Canyon Road Tower

Click any of the links above and you will be whisked away to a list of every condo that is for sale in that complex. Keep in mind that there are not always condos for sale in some of these communities. The Carlton Towers, for example, only has 3 or 4 condos per year come up for sale.

If you have any additional questions or you want to look at any of these condos, give me a call.

FHA approved condos are easier to sell because buyers can put down a lot less money.
