Warren Miller's Ticket To Ride October 18,19 2013

Tonight and tomorrow night October 18 and 19, 2013 you can find a screening of the new Warren Miller Film "Ticket To Ride" at the Eccles Center in Park City.

For decades this has been the most eagerly anticipated event of the fall that die hard skiers look forward to, indicating the new season is just around the corner.

This year's film captures action from Kazhakstan, Greenland, Iceland's Troll Peninsula, The Alaskan Trodrillos and Montana's Big Sky Country.

Skiers featured in the film include Olympians Seth Wescott, Ted Ligety and Julia Mancuso as well as Big Mountain skiers like Chris Davenport, Colby West and Sean Pettit.

Screenings are Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 6pm and 9 pm. The Eccles Center is located at Park City High School on 1750 Kearns Blvd. Their phone number is 435-655-3114.

Michael-it is getting close, pre season skiers have been catching a bit of powder at Alta already.

Debbie-Warren Miller has been doing this for about 50 years or so and it always does do the trick.

Jan-it always gets a big turnout, thus the two nights of showings.
