Cedaredge, CO Dog Jog & Fun Day with Fido. The fun and games are on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at the Cedaredge Town Park. The Dog Jog starts at 10AM...and you can do the one or two mile loop. This is the second year for this fund raising event. After the jog, there are plenty of games and activities planned for dogs, their owners and dog lovers.

Cedaredge, CO Dog Jog & Fun with Fido has a full morning of events planned. Here's more information. After the jog, stick around for the dog costume contest. There are several categories to enter including prettiest, scariest, most original, funny and crowd pleaser.
Then there's the anyone can win dog show. Dogs will be judged in several categories including best behaved, ugliest, best howl (perfect for Halloween), dog/handler look alike, actor impersonator and judge's favorite (now that's pretty subjective).
The trick contest has several catagories to enter as well. There's most creative, best WOW factor, difficulty and judge's favorite.
If your dog's good at catching a Frisbee...there's a contest for that, too. But that's not all...there will be a maze set up and dogs will be judged on their time for going through the maze. I can't wait to see the agility contest...there will be a beginners and experienced class. This is where the dogs have to crawl through tunnels, jump hurdles, walk a balance beam and do other things you don't normally see your average dog do.
This is a fund raiser event to help the Cedaredge Police Department replace their canine officer. The entry fee is $25 dollars for all events, or $5 dollars for each event. The $25 entry fee will get you a t-shirt. You can register online.
