The Cripple Creek Condos are undergoing a metamorphosis this year. Super close to campus, the sales price has averaged $63,403 in 2013 and 14 have sold since the beginning of the year.
The siding had not been maintained or replaced since they were built over 30 years ago. However, the HOA has started a renovation bonanza and several projects, including replacing the siding, are underway.
The buildings have been updated one-at-a-time so far. First they rip off all the old stained cedar, then they install the Hardyboard. It comes in this light yellow color that you see. Once all that is complete, the painters come in.
All the siding is then painted this rich brown color. More than half of the community is complete! It's a big project and has been going on since May.
The pool area also got a little TLC. Two new charcoal grills were installed and the wooden decking (not pictured) was completely replaced.
Even the mailroom got a facelift.
It's nice to see an active HOA stepping up to bring its community forward!
