I love Halloween! It is to me one of the most fun holidays, and most over-looked holidays! I do whatever I can for my two young boys to enjoy Halloween because I believe it instills a sense of fun and let's all of us have a chance at taking ourselves less seriously.
So it was a complete surprise and thrill to have been Booed this year! What is being Booed? We were locking up the house for bedtime a few nights ago and discovered a plastic pumpkin filled with treats and small toys for the boys, and a sign that read "You've Been Booed!"
With the sign were instructions that said:
1. Enjoy your treats in this pumpkin
2. Display this sign notifying the neighborhood that you've been Booed!
3. Help keep the fun going by preparing two pumpkins with treats and toys and a copy of this sign and instructions and Boo two houses in the neighborhood!
I love it! This fun little game helps solidify the community, is fun and our kids were so excited! Well, I gotta go... We just prepared our pumpkins and we are off to Boo someone!
