Staging Your Home To Sell Fast!
Being an Accredited Staging Professional gives me the advantage of offering this service to all of my Sellers. I love to redesign a home in order to give it the most advantage for showings. Below are a few tricks of the trade that I use to bring new life into a home.
Remove Personal Items: You want to let prospective buyers see themselves living in the home. Having your family portraits, childrens toys and shoes left at the back door, makes them feel they are intruding, not previewing.
Let The Light Shine: Make sure that the curtains and blinds are open when a showing is scheduled. Natural light makes rooms seem larger and more inviting. If it is a cloudy day, turn on lamps and overhead lighting.
Declutter The Furnishings: You don't need to invest in a total makeover in order to make your home "showable". Instead, remove bulky or mix match chairs, beds and tables to give more space. A cluttered living area or bedroom is uninviting.
