Cascades is located in Sterling, VA, north of Route 7 Harry Byrd Highway. Cascades, also known as Potomac Falls, consists of over 2,500 acres of land and has approximately 6,500 homes.

The Cascades Community has many amenities including Community Center, 15 Tennis Courts, 5 Swimming Pools, Walking Trails, 25 Tot Lots, Boce Ball Courts and Soccer Field. Cascades/Potomac Falls received the "Finest for Family Living" awards in 1993 and 1994.
