This year 2013 Fredericksburg Pumpkin Patch, Belvedere Plantation where you will find many activities. The general Farm admission includes: A  Hayride to the pumpkin patch,corn maze,old barnyard,ziplines,swine speedway,fun barn,jumping pillow,straw jump,trike track,little farmers corral, Barrell train, pedal trackers,danger field downs and the spider web! Fredericksburg- Saturdays and Sundays Sept. 21 through Nov. 3 -Belvedere Plantation Harvest Festival 

Having visited this farm  year after year when my kids where growing up every time this year when I think of Halloween I think of all the good times we had with all the school trips to this  fantastic farm.  This local Farm has been around for a long time , 245 years and is about 1,000 acres.  There are many activities for groups of people to experience  schools, churches even make your next family reunion here,  What a fun experience that would be.  They have many different packages available and COUPONS  and more.  Making this trip out to Belvedere Farms year after year has found to be a delightful time and has created many great memories of the kids eyes when the hay ride stopped out in the field and all you see in pumpkins and more pumpkins for them to choose from.  What an experience for a child to have picked their own pumpkin out , tak eit home wash it off, cut the top off dig their hands inside and get all the seeds out and wash them off , have mom or dad put  them in the oven while they continue  with the pumpkin curving.  

Some Insider tips before you go call ahead to the farm and ask them if everything is open since at different times of the year or weekdays or weekdays they may have different events going on so call ahead and  ask.  this way when you get there you will already know if  an attraction has been closed for the day.
