Most of the time when I blog or post, it is with the intention of getting out my marketing to the cyber world and onto the Internet. ActiveRain has been my launch vehicle for this for that last three years and it has proved successful. The feedback and input as well as the responses come to me from all over the world...Yes amazing isn't it?
ANALYTICS
I marvel when I run GOOGLE analytic and see how and where as well as why my posts were hit. Israel? Ecuador? Philippines? Canada and well throughout the world. Different articles are accessed to read and respond to. Interesting to note how different people all over the world are exploring and searching out what they find of interest taking my posting into their personal worlds
IT GOES WHERE IT GOES
Remember, I sell books too... known as the PEARLS SERIES of books on LIFE and LOVE and that subject matter is Universally popular. On my Real Estate activities, I rely on the Localism approaches but I also try to make them appealing to anyone and not just my little sphere of influence. After all, once something goes into cyberspace who really knows where it will end up?
IT'S A LIVING BUSINESS CARD
I equate blogging to giving out electronic business cards or fliers. That's how important it is. The subjects to be shared are without end as each persons daily journey remains unique and if presented as a good read will naturally appeal to someone somewhere at sometime. Referrals and word of mouth have no "boss' that they answer to....They travel as they like and end up where they go
FULL TIME COMMITMENT
Blogging is a must. Web sites are a must. Letting people know who you are, what you do and how you do it is fast becoming the default posture and a must too. If you are not doing this and keeping up with this...well those that are even if they are doing it a low levels are doing more than you. You wont even be considered if your not known
OUTSOURCING YOURSELF?
Like it or not, one must become good at accessing the Internet. That is probably why some or many copy and paste or even have others write their posts for them. They recognize the need but don't want to take the quality time. for those that do this, you are also demonstrating how you conduct your business too. Exactly the same way as described above..
KEEP IT REAL
Shortcuts in this arena get things done but they lack quality, intimacy and reality. If one is going to enter into anything, then do so. The good invisible forces or dynamics cannot be fooled. You can and others can be fooled but realness cannot be manipulated. It just is. Keep it real was a pretty popular saying back in the early 2000's. It still applies today too
IT'S A BUFFET...
When you see all my pot pourri of posts...just know that I am speaking to everyone that is passing through life with me wherever they are. Of course, you got to be connected to the Internet to even know that...
