Directed by Olivia Trevino with choreography by Deidre Cavazzi, this oddball comedy takes place in the Studio Theatre. There's an incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café, a stranger at the next table who has had enough, and a dead man-with a lot of loose ends. So begins Dead Man's Cell Phone, a wildly imaginative new comedy by Sarah Ruhl, author of The Clean House and Eurydice.  




Barclay Theatre presents AnDa Union

Hailing from Mongolia, the 10-member ensemble known as AnDa Union revives and updates the folk music of their homeland, creating a completely cool new beat-driven sound. Along with traditional string, percussion and wind instruments like the morin huur (horse-head fiddle) and tsuur (a three-holed flute), the Hohhot, China-based group also specializes in both the famed guttural throat-singing and long-song vocalizing techniques of their Mongol ancestors.

Set in a rural Georgia fishing lodge, this award-winning comic farce follows Charlie, an Englishman too shy to engage with other vacationers. Charlie is seemingly rescued by his friend Froggy, who suggests to the others that he's a foreigner who doesn't speak English. But when his cabin-mates begin to unleash a torrent of their deepest secrets and devious -- and possibly dangerous -- scandals to him, Charlie discovers an adventurous streak he never knew he had. The Foreigner won two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best New American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production.



Harlem Globetrotter Legends Play

The Anaheim High School Basketball Boosters is proud to announce its First Annual Basketball Fundraiser Game. Held on The game features the Harlem Globetrotter Legends against the Anaheim All-Stars. The Harlem Globetrotter Legends were founded and are led by former Harlem Globetrotter Michael Douglas. The Legends consist of former Harlem Globetrotters, NBA players, Olympians and other professional athletes, who donate their time and talents to inner city high schools to raise funds that help operate successful school basketball programs.
