Fall photoSeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular - geared toward those under 12 years of age, meet some spooky and not so spooky animals in a trick or treat atmosphere.  Special Halloween shows and colorful costumed characters on Saturday and Sunday.

Trick or Treat on India Street - Friday October 25, 2013 5.30pm tp 7.30pm in Little Italy - This year the Little Italy Association is proud to bring Trick-or-Treat on India Street back for its 7th year.  Parents – be sure to stop by the Piazza Basilone, on the corner of India and W. Fir Streets, for a list of participating businesses.  The Trick-or-Treat Maps will be available at 5:30pm.

Old Town Trick-or-Treat - October 31, 4pm - 6.30pm Trick or Treat at Old Town State Historical Park, free admission, gather goodies from participating shops and museums throughout Old Town.

Kroc Boo Bash and Harvest Fair - Saturday, October 26th, 1-4pm. Enjoy trick or treating, carnival games, pumpkin decorating, arts & crafts and more. Located at Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center, 6845 University Ave., San Diego. Proceeds will help restock the Kroc Center Family Services Emergency Food Pantry. $2, free for members ages 3 and under. 

Halloween Bash at Seaport Village - October 26, 1-9 pm - Located at West Harbor Drive and Pacific Highway. Enjoy live music throughout the evening. Trick-or-treating 7-9 pm. This event also includes a pet costume contest and photos with a living scarecrow.

Haunted Tales of the Ship, Star of India - October 28-29, 6-10pm. 1492 N. Harbor Dr. A 45-60-minute lantern-led tour, complete with creepy treats will take guests throughout the ship, where they will be told of the ship's frightening past.

Balboa Park Family Day - October 26th, 2013. Children 12 and under will be treated to free admission at many of the Park's museums. Participating museums and cultural attractions will present a spooktacular array of hands-on activities, crafts, costume parades, tours, storytelling, and other free goodies from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Adults receive discounted admission when they pick up a Stay-for-the-Day Pass, allowing one adult admission to five park museums for a low price of $43.

Balboa Park Spooky Sleepover - October 26th, 4pm-9am. Meet animals that wear their colorful costumes all year-round. Take an exclusive bus tour that will introduce you to some scary and strange animals.  Trick or treat, while meeting and touching some spooky animals and participate in a costume parade.

Safe Trick or treat on Pumpkin Lane, Encinitas - South Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, October 31, 5:30-8 pm. The Downtown Encinitas Main Street Association provides the opportunity to celebrate in one spot. Downtown merchants will be handing out candy, and there will be children's games, carved pumpkins and live entertainment.

Brick Or Treat At Legoland - weekends through October 31, 5 pm-9 pm.  Trick-or-Treating, as well as costume parades, Halloween-themed live entertainment, a Halloween Haven and a "boo crew." $69 general, $59 children (3-12) and seniors; 2 and under free. $12 parking

Dia De Los Muertos - October 27th, 10am-5pm. Old Mission San Luis Rey, 4050 Mission Ave., Oceanside This Mexican cultural celebration, "Day of the Dead," pays homage to those who have passed. A hugely popular, family-friendly event features interactive arts and crafts, a mini carnival, numerous venders, food, entertainment and a custom low-rider display from the Siempre Car Club. The club will also display altars honoring their lost loved ones.

Bates Nut Farm Annual Pumpkin Patch - Fun for all the family, pumpkins, Gourds, squash, pony Rides and all the fall harvest colors can be experienced now through November 2nd at Bates Nut Farm: 15954 Woods Valley Road, Valley Center, Ca 92082
