The Bug Chicks are coming to Vancouver WA - Find your inner bugdork.
The Bug Chicks are coming to town this month to help us find our inner bugdork. Kristie Reddick and Jessica Honaker (aka The Bug Chicks) are entomologists who travel around the country to bring us a closer look at the fascinating world of insects.
Get your bugdork on for Free!
You’re invited to the free event on Sunday, October 27th, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way. It’s sponsored by Environmental Services and the county’s Green Neighborhood Wildwatch Program.
The Bug Chicks will open your eyes.
Plan on spending a fun, free and family-oriented afternoon learning about a world we often ignore. Or perhaps, it's one we choose to ignore, because it seems a bit creepy. The Bug Chicks will inspire you (and your family) to get “off the couch” and explore the wilderness in your own backyard.
Here’s an example of how the duo teach us about nature in their fun and quirky videos.
