Everyone seems to have their favorite place to creep around the night of Halloween.  The location, distance away from home, whether parents are "invited" to walk with them, changes over time as our little angel children get older.

But there is a place which is so busy, exciting and energetic, you will not mind walking to it and your kids will not mind you tagging along.  It has been one of the best places to go for Halloween in Agoura Hills CA for over 15 years.

Nestled in the middle of the Morrison Ranch Estates community of Agoura Hills is this one long street decked out with incredible ghostly transformations of homes, haunted houses, and ghouls running after you.  Feels like an amusement park in our backyard.

Every year I stand there in the middle of the block taking this cul-de-sac street all in.  The screaming, lights, kids of all ages running with fantastic fear, candy everywhere, Sheriff's on horseback, City officials snacking on Snicker's bars and I wonder how long it took and how much money it cost for some of these homeowners to turn the front of their homes into a haunted mansion or in one case a washed to shore haunted pirate ship.  Unbelievable!

Location:  5700 Block of Hempstead Drive, Agoura Hills CA

Hours:  The Sheriff closes access points into the street area on October 31 between 5pm - 9pm.
