Have a Spooktacular Halloween in MoCo County

Continuing the theme of Halloween, this week I want to share with you some exciting Halloween activities taking place through to the end of the month. MoCo County has many family fun activities and events for you and your family to enjoy this time of year. These are but a few.

­­­­­­­­­­­­ Halloween at the Medical Museum Join the National Museum of Health and Medicine this Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM for a variety of activities involving skulls.  Bring your young ghosts and skeletons for a “Bone-A-Fide” great time! This is a free event, with children of all ages welcome.

 You can make it a full day of Halloween celebrating by also attending the Fall Frolic at Glen Echo Park. From 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM come to Glen Echo Park for a fun Halloween treat. Here there is something for everyone. From a costume parade to face painting and games, to walking along the park taking in the art studios and galleries, the whole family can come along. This event is also free to attend and will brighten anyone’s spirits!

Fall Frolic

 Round out your hauntingly fun Halloween this year with a visit to Field of Screams.Running now through Sat., November 2, 2013, from 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Field of Screams gives you four haunts in one place. Have a romp through their Haunted House attractions. With music and bonfires, a festive air is all about, and there is something for everyone. Activities for younger kids are sure to delight, and creepy crawly spooky fun is to be had for those who want a little fright for their Halloween. Prices vary per date and attraction.
