!!When testing Smoke Detecters!!

People when testing smoke detecters twice a year, please go out to your local hardware store and purchase a can of smoke. It is for testing smoke detecters. Just tested one yesterday and it was the only one smoke detecter in the condo. No amount of smoke would make it go off or alarm I should say. But the test button did work and when pressed, it sounded. But you can never be sure unless you use smoke.
