BAGI's Home A Rama 2013 in Village of Westclay, Carmel IN
I had the pleasure of attending BAGI's Home A Rama 2013 in Village of Westclay, Carmel IN and I want to urge everyone to get out this weekend and view the four decorated homes this weekend! Tickets can be purchased in advance and printed at home for $12 or you may purchase at the door for $15.
It is a great way to check out the latest in floor plans, building products and home decor.
The first home was built by Brookshire Homes in a all brick Italian Renaissance design that reminds you of the beautiful historic homes of Old Meridian St. but the interior is all open design for the way families live today.
The home was decorated by Luxe Home Interiors and while the entire home was lovely, the bar in the lower level was my favorite of all the homes. I loved the mix of new, slightly industrial feel with the old world charm of the brick wine walls.
The second home was constructed by DB Klain Construction and the interiors by Savvy Decor. The exterior is is reminescent of an 1800's farm house with front porch and lots of trim detail but the inside is open, spacious and full of special touches. I loved the coffee bar in the Master Retreat, the boy's room with built-in bunkbeds, the little girl's room with decorative murals and a really cute light fixture & the outdoor patio is fabulous!
The third home is Wedgewood Building Company's shingle-style exterior with the great roof line and beautiful lanai style patio. Decor by Thomas & Jayne Interior Design featured the very popular gray and brown palettes seen in all four homes but with unexpected pops of orange and blue which begin with the front porch and carry through the main floor. The main floor master walks out to the patio and I loved the unusual curved fan blades in the master. The fireplace wall with built-in TV was unusual, modern and yet gave a cozy feeling to he hearth room.
Last but not least was the Gradision Design Build home with decor by Kittle's Studio Design's, Lu Olp. The exterior has a farm house feel but the metal on both the main roof and the covered porch give it a modern edge. The interior flooring has a mix of hardwoods & the new wood-look tiles that are very fresh looking.
The use of reclaimed wood in both the construction and the decor was a great touch. Beautiful home and a great addition to the Villages of Westclay.
I would be happy to introduce you to any of these great builders & interior designers to help you make your dream home come true.
