Richard, In South Central PA we had our first frost on Tuesday so we wrapped the remaining tomatoes in newspaper. By the looks of our harvest, we will still have plenty of tomatoes and peppers for Thanksgiving. Good idea to begin working on the 2014 business plan. We are also ready to begin scheduling our continuing education courses.
Richard, We dropped into the 20's last night which was highly unusual. It's time to get out the coats and the cordoroy pants.
Hey Richard,
Those vegetables look so tasty. I'm getting hungry. Time for some warm food for the early temperature drop. Best of GREAT success to you always!
Dorie...
Yes I do! Thanks my friend.
Bette...
I used to do a year round garden with collards, turnips, broccoli and mustard. But I am not as ambitious these days but I will miss those winter greens. TY.
Debbie...
I hope that the leaves don't turn brown. It's too soon for Fall to be over. Thanks.
Jordon...
I was thinking of some spicy stuffed peppers! That should keep me warm. Thanks so much.
Richard, it's chilly up here, too. Still I'm really resisting getting out my warm winter coat.
Enjoy the weather Richard, we are enjoying the cool temps here too, now that I got my last furnace working well this week I can relax and enjoy the cool air.
Good morning Richard,
We are getting an early chill coming this way as well. I filled my propane tank yesterday (as in making a phone call to the company to do it), it's suppose to be a long, hard, cold winter.
Good morning Richard. I have experienced the big thaw both personally and professionally. Enjot the peppers and the planning.
I've heard we'll have a colder than average winter this year. Last year was so warm in California I'm honestly looking forward to colder temps, quiet days, and comfort foods.
Hi, Richard! Glad you got those peppers picked. I hear we're in for a real doozy of a Winter! Thanks for posting, and good luck on the plans for 2014!
WE have had some cool weather, but not a hard freeze. I think 27 or 28 has been the low. :Looking for a cold night to get rid of some leaves from the trees for better hunting
Seems early for a hard freeze... I like the transition to be a slow gentle one!
Hi Richard,
Sounds like you have your work cut out for you! Have great week-end!!
