How many people can I reach today?
I'm a Real Estate Agent and I love it. Being in business for myself has opened up a whole new world-so different from the nine to five world I left behind.
My husband and I live in the Family home. Seven generations have lived here and this is the third home built on this land. (Two former homes were destroyed in fires). We have a 15 year old daughter named Anastasia who was born in St Petersburg, Russia and adopted by us in 1993.
We love animals and have three big happy Gordon Setters, the two puppies(!) are two years old and come form a long line of champions, that includes their mom.
We enjoy the indoors and the outdoors and have several feeders for visiting birds-yes Margaret R. many many of us adore our feathered friends. This past winter we have succeeded in feeding the birds ( 27 varieties have taken refreshment here since winter), with little compettion from the squirrels. They get the leftovers that fall to the ground.
Taking care of an older home is an ongoing project-always plenty to do. One of these days we'll leave this lovely home for something smaller and simpler. The future may have other ideas and may bring other surprises.
Your home whether its your first , second, vacation or retirement home is your refuge, your domain- temporay or long term it belongs to you it warms and protects and is a source of pride. The Real Estate profession is here to serve you so choose wisely-the right person may be a blog away!
One more note. I adore traveling and have miles and miles of travel in my future. So I now work in the travel industry too. This career opportunity has opened another channel for meeting and working with many more people through this vantage point. I feel very fortunate to have many challanges, many paths and hopefull experiences ahead of me.
Keep learning, keep questioning, keep reaching out.
Anne
